Injection mold refers to the use of an injection molding technology to make some specific materials into a complete form, but in this process, injection processing takes up most of the time, which can also explain the importance of this step. During molding, the cooling effect is not good, which will cause defects in the finished product, and also affect the quality of the finished product and other things.
Therefore, it is necessary to reasonably arrange the injection molding, pressure holding, and cooling time to improve the quality and productivity of injection molded products. Cooling time refers to the time period from when the plastic melt fills the injection mold cavity to when the part can be taken out of the open mold. The time standard for removing parts can be opened. The parts are usually fully cured and have a certain strength and rigidity. When the part is ejected from the opened mold, it will not deform or crack.
The results show that even if the same material is used for injection molding, the cooling time of the material varies with changes in wall thickness, melt temperature, mold release temperature and injection mold temperature. Therefore, it is difficult to calculate the cooling time 100% accurately, and it can only be calculated under appropriate assumptions.
At present, there are three reference standards for the cooling time of injection molding: one is the temperature of the center layer of the thickest part of the wall of the injection molded part, and the time required to cool below the thermal deformation temperature of the plastic; the other is the cross section of the injection molded part, average The temperature is the time required to cool down to the mold outlet temperature of the specified product.
