   Plastic mold is an abbreviation of combined plastic mold used for compression molding, extrusion molding, injection, blow molding and low foam molding. Plastic mold

   Injection molds are one of the types of plastic molds. Plastic molds include: injection molds, extrusion molds, and blister molds. Mold technology: Silicone rubber mold making method and matters needing attention

Rubber mold is one of the simplest methods in rapid molds. Generally, the RP prototype is re-molded with silica gel, but the lifespan is very short, only about 10-30 pieces! It has good elasticity and replication performance. The use of silicone rubber to replicate the mold does not need to consider the draft angle, does not affect the dimensional accuracy, and has good partitionability. Room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is divided into two types: addition type and condensation type:


The raw materials and formula use special mold silicone rubber. This product is sold in double packaging. The A component is a rubber compound and the B component is a catalyst. The room temperature, the strength and the hardness of the mold should be considered during the preparation to determine the weight preparation ratio of the AB component.


When the room temperature is 20-25 degrees, A:B=100:1.5. When the room is low (but not below 10 degrees), add 0.1-0.3 parts of B component appropriately. If the room temperature is too high, 0.1-0.3 parts of group B will be reduced. The specific method is to determine the total dosage according to the volume of the mold, and then weigh the A and B components accurately in proportion, place them in a vessel and stir evenly, and serve.


Mold making: pour the prepared materials onto the clean objects to be imitated. In order to save material and make a thinner mold, it can also be painted in stages. In order to increase the tensile force of the mold, gauze or the like can be pasted. It can be cured into an elastomer in 2 hours at room temperature of 20 degrees, and it can be used in one day.


Precautions for making silicone rubber molds:


1. Component B is a catalyst, which is easy to be hydrolyzed by moisture, so the lid should be tightly closed after use.


2. Once the A and B groups are mixed, the chemical reaction starts immediately, and the viscosity gradually rises and cannot be stopped. To avoid waste, it should be prepared according to the dosage and used immediately after preparation, without delay.


3. The mixing ratio of group A and group B is related to the speed of chemical reaction and the performance of the mold. The more component B, the faster the reaction, and the higher the strength and hardness of the product, but the toughness decreases. Therefore, the weighing requires precision.


4. Before preparation, stir the A component material up and down evenly, and then weigh it.


5. The pouring method is suitable for embossing, and the brushing method is suitable for the production of three-dimensional molds. Molds for pouring reliefs should first be made of a frame whose length and width are 4-6CM larger than the original length and width. The border should be flat and the inner surface should be smooth. When pouring, place the frame on a clean glass plate, and then put the original in the frame, leaving a gap of 2-3CM on each side
