The posture and method of high-speed CNC lathe sharpening are as follows:


1. People stand on the side of the grinder to prevent the debris from flying out and hurting people when the grinding wheel is broken;


2. Release the distance between the two hands to hold the knife, and clamp the waist with both elbows to reduce the jitter when sharpening the knife;


3. When sharpening, the turning tool should be placed on the horizontal center of the grinding wheel, and the tip of the tool should be slightly upwards about 3° to 8°. After the turning tool touches the grinding wheel, it should move horizontally in the left and right directions. When the turning tool leaves the grinding wheel, the turning tool must be lifted up to prevent the sharpened blade from being damaged by the grinding wheel;


4. When grinding the flank, the tail of the tool shaft is deviated to the left by an angle of the main deflection; when grinding the flank, the tail of the tool shank is deviated to the right by an angle of the secondary deflection;


5. When grinding the arc of the tool tip, usually hold the front end of the turning tool with your left hand as the fulcrum, and turn the tail of the turning tool with your right hand. The precautions for grinding tools on high-speed CNC lathes are as follows:


1. Before grinding the tool, first check whether the grinding wheel is cracked, whether the grinding wheel shaft nut is tightened, and use it after trial rotation to prevent the grinding wheel from chipping or flying out and hurting people.


2. Do not sharpen the tool with too much force, otherwise the hand will slip and touch the surface of the grinding wheel, causing work-related accidents.


3. Wear protective glasses when sharpening the knife to prevent grit and iron filings from flying into your eyes.


4. Do not stand facing the direction of rotation of the grinding wheel when sharpening the knife to prevent accidents.


5. When grinding a small cutter head, the small cutter head must be installed on the cutter shaft.


6. The gap between the grinding wheel support and the grinding wheel should not be greater than 3mm. If it is too large, it should be adjusted appropriately.
